The Beauty Peagent Committee, on behalf of the 2019 Edition of the Mkpani (Leboku) New Yam Festival Planning Committee invite applicants who wish to contest for the 2019 Edition of Mr. and Miss Festival of the Mkpani Leboku New Yam Festival to come for their application forms. Warfare is inherently destructive of sustainable development. Communities in Yakurr should therefore respect municipal and international laws providing protection for human lives, properties and the environment in times of armed conflict and cooperate in its further development as necessary. Obol Lopon of Mkpani is a man of peace, and has played a fundamental role in the mutual peace and unity of Yakurr nation.
